Our journey began in the early 1980s when a Sydney windsurfer created a simple, safe way to transport his surfboard using purpose-built roof racks. This innovative solution marked the birth of a brand that would evolve into one of Australia's largest roof rack and cargo management companies.

Our Melbourne-based production facility build each of our tailor-made roof rack to specific vehicle models, ensuring precision fitment, reduced wind noise, and maximum performance.

Born from necessity, Rola's journey began with one man's desire to create a simple yet reliable way to carry his windsurfing gear. In November 2016, we introduced the Titan Tray Range, a groundbreaking modular flat tray designed to meet the needs of 4WD enthusiasts and tradespeople alike. The Titan Tray quickly became a favourite, offering flexibility with multiple channels for easy accessory mounting, allowing you to configure it to your exact needs.

Our Titan Flat Tray is the next step in cargo management evolution, providing even more options for securing and organizing your gear. It’s designed to handle Australia’s rugged terrain, giving adventurers and tradies the confidence that their cargo is safe and secure, no matter where they take it.

Custom Design Philosophy: We believe that cargo carrying products should be strong yet lightweight, complementing the design of your vehicle. To achieve this, Rola custom-designed for each individual roof rack and ridge mount to suit that vehicle model, ensuring a perfect fit every time. This approach guarantees solutions with minimal drag and wind noise, allowing you to carry your gear aerodynamically and stylishly.

Accessibility: We aim to make carrying your gear as easy as possible. To achieve this we aim to develop products that are eassier to install, use and maintain, including providing all the parts and tools you need in the package to get on the road quicker.

Environment: We love exploring the Australian outdoors just like you, and we want to keep it in tact for the next generation. To help this, Rola is embarking on a sustainable packaging effort to reduce packaging and make it recyclable where ever possible. 

Local Production: Our Melbourne-based production facility builds roof racks to individual orders. This local focus not only supports Australian industry but also allows us to maintain strict quality control.
