Black Hawk 4x4
Blackhawk 4x4 was established because we couldn't find a product in the market that offered what was required. Constant requests from the market to supply a product that was not robust enough for fast paced, serious cross country touring, while offering increased suspension geometry resulting in improved handling over OE without losing focus of the vehicles OE quality.
We had alot of demand from customers that wanted to upgrade their factory suspension and had a need for strong reliable components that offered the OE comfort & serviceability for extended remote trips into the Australian outback and surrounds.
Blackhawk 4x4 aim to include all the practical features you may see on big dollar competition cars, although refined to best suit the harsh Australian conditions with the durability we expect from an OE manufacturers product. Ensuring drivability is enhanced with modified vehicles is a focused objective. Darche Outdoor Gear
Established in 1991, DARCHE® has become one of the best-known - and loved - Australian camping and outdoor adventure brands. Today DARCHE® enjoys an iconic Australian status in the camping and 4x4 touring market, but it was from humble beginnings that this brand was conceived.
Born of necessity - as many great things are - Darren O’Dwyer, saw a hole in the Australian outdoor market. While he loved nothing more than hitting the road with an old fashioned rollout swag, he found his sleeping arrangements were not all that appealing to others, namely his wife, Cheryl.
While planning a road trip along the east coast, Cheryl declared there was no way she was sleeping in one of those things - the bugs will get in!
Avid campers, the O’Dwyers knew a thing or two about the conditions their swag design would have to endure on their adventure, so with help from his brother Dave, Darren set out to design a shelter that suited the rugged, Australian landscape… and the wildlife that inhabits it.
It had to be tough but comfortable, waterproof yet breathable, quick, practical and easy to stow. It had to provide a fully enclosed shelter with enough space around the skin to protect from bugs and mozzies, and it had to be completely zip sealed to keep the critters and creepy crawlies out - no easy task. Together, the O’Dwyer’s created a canvas shell with zippered doors and windows, and of course - a flexible fibreglass pole, designing Australia’s first dome swag. It was a talking point at many camping spots throughout their journey along the east coast, and remains an icon of the Australian camping scene today.
With a passion for outdoor adventure, It was a natural progression from the original dome swag to an impressive range of roof top tents and awnings. Superior canvas quality being the foundation of long lasting, rugged outdoor gear.

Hayman Reese
70 Years Strong - We Know Towing!
The humble tow bar is an everyday item that many Australians fit onto their cars. As part of our active lifestyles, we use them almost daily for both work and pleasure. Behind that shiny tow ball, is a multimillion-dollar industry with one brand, in particular, standing out as a market leader.
Origins
In the late 1940's a friend asked Eric Hayman to build him a tow bar to tow his newly acquired caravan. Eric however built two, one for his friend and another which he quickly sold at a country agricultural show. He could not have dreamed that it would be the first step towards building an Australian icon.
Eric Hayman was not new to manufacturing, he had been making bicycle spokes in a small South Melbourne factory for some time. The tow bar business quickly became the focus of his attention and he set about making them in earnest.
In 1972 a major milestone was reached. A large American towing products company, by the name of Reese, was on the lookout for global partners and started working closely with Eric Hayman’s business. Seven years later a new entity was formed and Eric Hayman was appointed as the first Managing Director of Hayman Reese.
As part of this partnership, Hayman Reese introduced several key pieces of technology to the Australian market - weight distribution systems and compatible towbars. The latter being the 50mm ‘square-hole' Hitch Receiver tow bar. Until that time, most tow bars had been fabricated with fixed mounting points and were not easily detachable. The 50mm square tow bar hitch was a game-changer and remains the Australian industry standard today.
1972 also saw the company leave South Melbourne and move to a larger facility in Dandenong. The Hayman Reese business is now located in state-of-art engineering, manufacturing, and warehouse facility in Keysborough. With over two hundred staff on-site, they design, test, and manufacture a wide range of products under one roof in Australia's largest facility of its type.
Now part of the locally owned AutoPacific Group, the Hayman Reese DNA remains at the core of the organisation.
AutoPacific Group Chief Executive Officer, Jason Kieseker notes, “Hayman Reese has been a keen participant in the Australian automotive aftermarket since the FX Holden went on sale. Our products have been helping Australians on worksites and weekends since the 1950’s - it’s a great achievement and something we are extremely proud of.”
Hema Maps
Hema Maps is an Australian based mapping and publishing company that was founded in 1983. The company has expanded purposefully to the point where today it has comprehensive Australia and overseas map coverage in a variety of forms including folded maps, atlases, guides and digital products such as apps and dedicated GPS navigation systems.
With a keen focus on off-road touring, Hema Maps has steadily built its reputation as masterful map makers in the four-wheel driving and outdoor adventure industries. Iron Man 4x4
Originally established in 1958, as a Melbourne based suspension parts manufacturer, named Jacob Spring Works.
The company in 1982 took shape as JSW Parts, (short for Jacob Spring Works) to design and supply leaf and coil springs for cars, trucks, buses and 4×4 vehicles. JSW Parts soon became well known as a manufacturer and supplier of suspension parts all around the world.
In 1988 JSW Parts launched the Ironman 4×4 brand of springs and suspension parts in response to the increasing popularity of 4×4 vehicles, recognizing that standard suspension systems alone were not designed to cope with additional loads of bull bars, winches and extra fuel tanks.
Driven by explosive sales of 4×4’s, in 2004 the Ironman 4×4 range of products expanded quickly to meet the demand of off road users seeking solutions which would allow their vehicles to go off road loaded with accessories such as winches, recovery equipment, protective bars, canopies, lighting and electrical upgrades.

Born from Giants who shoot fire from their eyes and bolts of lightning from their arse came Offroad Animal. Nah, not really sorry just being silly.
Offroad Animal was founded by David Fitzpatrick who previously co-founded another 4x4 company (I'll let you guess which one.) Having left that company in mid 2018 a serious development phase ensued and many super cool and exciting 4x4 accessories were developed before Launch in April 2019. These accessories are branded Offroad Animal due to their wild and fun nature. Oh, they also work pretty good too.
We set out to develop products that really make your 4wd stand out and look cool whilst serving a purpose. The management team is dedicated and passionate 4wders, tourers, over-landers or whatever you want to call us. We like to head bush or off road, and have fun camping or just trying to climb crazy hills.
Rest assured all your products are designed and tested in Australia by qualified engineers. Yep we all went to Uni to learn Engineering. Crazy I know. We manufacture in a variety of countries depending on what product it is. These countries include Australia, and Vietnam.
